Hello! I’m Matthew O’Hare, author of Roses of the Crimson City, the first book in the Shadows of the Elders series.
I originally wrote this as a passion project just for myself, but after sharing it with a few people who loved it, I realized I wanted to share it with more readers. I’m just an average guy whose brain never stops throwing ideas at me—writing is the only way to quiet it down.
I’m drawn to darker, deeper stories, rich worlds, and characters that feel alive. My goal is to bring these elements to every story I tell, and I’d love for you to join me on this journey as my writing evolves.
